The ENVI-BUBBLE EPDM fine bubble disc membrane has been manufactured for over 15 years for industrial wastewater aeration, municipal wastewater, domestic septic tanks, food processes such as fermentation, fish or shrimp farm aeration. Activated sludge wastewater treatment and contact aeration process and aquariums will require a high oxygen transfer rate or oxygen transfer efficiency, OTE, and low-pressure loss from the membrane. The reinforced EPDM can continuously create fine bubbles from slots in the EPDM membrane of disc or tube type. The expected lifespan can be more than 5 years without tearing or bursting. There are other material options such as self-sinking silicone membrane, ceramic diffuser, air stone, and coil-shaped diffuser. There are also coarse air bubble diffusers for liquid mixing applications. The diffuser can be used for roots blowers, ring blowers, and linear air pumps. The diffuser also has the advantage of greatly reducing energy.
