BIG RAH 90 MCR HYDRAULIC CARTRIDGE - RA5001020

The product RA5001020 corresponds to the washable mesh cartridge made of stainless steel RAH BIG 90 micron, manufactured by the Italian brand Atlas Filtri, designed exclusively for high-flow self-cleaning filtration systems of the HYDRA BIG series.

This component stands out for its automatic backwash capability, which allows the retained sediments to be expelled without the need to disassemble the equipment.

• Filter medium: High-resistance AISI 316 stainless steel mesh.
• Structure and caps: Reinforced polypropylene, molded directly onto the mesh without glues or sealants.
• Filtration degree: 90 microns (mcr), ideal for retaining coarse sediments such as sand, rust, and scale.
• Compatibility: Exclusive for HYDRA BIG series housings (not compatible with the regular size standard HYDRA series). 

• Recommended flow: Supports high flow rates from 2,000 to 15,000 liters per hour (depending on the housing connection size).
• Minimum flow for washing: Requires at least 2,000 l/h to perform an efficient automatic backwash.
• Working temperature: Minimum of 4 °C (39.2 °F) and maximum of 45 °C (113 °F) (suitable only for cold water). 

• Washable and reusable: When the filter becomes saturated, the bottom valve of the HYDRA BIG housing is opened. This reverses the water flow from inside out, dislodging impurities retained on the mesh.
• Estimated lifespan: Between 24 and 36 months, depending on the incoming water quality and frequency of washes.
• Food safety: Manufactured with certified non-toxic materials, completely suitable for contact with drinking water.
